If your new home theater system is set up in your living room, theater or media room, or man-cave, you know it's a project that have invested time, money and energy into. Searches for the best television, media and gaming devices surround sound and your budget took some 'time, but now you have the big screen of your dreams, all multimedia devices to watch your favorite movies with: the latest release of game platforms, a killer surround soundset of stereo speakers that rattle the windows of your neighbor and you have the biggest and best chair that does everything but take out the trash. Are you ready for the big debut of pet project, believed to be well but there are some things to double-check and consider before the movie premiere the night before or the game. You want to optimize your home theater and here's how.

We have suffered all the annoyances that comes with off-white or a bright spot on the TV screen that isfrom a window or a light bulb with the light too bright to stay. It 'frustrating to have part of the screen that you can view blocked in this way. When you set the position of the television in your home theater system, consider this as a major factor in deciding where to place the TV. If you think you have many visitors for movie night or game night, you will need to take into account the angle of each potential participant and make sure there are no unnecessary lightsradiant on the screen. If a window can not be helped, invest in some curtains to help with the daytime display. Lamps and other lighting equipment may of course be moved to another location in the room.

Now that you have the TV in the perfect place in the room, the next thing you want to be considered for the best audio experience is the placement of your speaker setup. Many speaker systems offer crystal clear surround sound "to hear a pin drop" sound, but if the speakers are not setcorrectly, then surround sound becomes "especially in the front" or "too strong in the back" of the sound. The special effects sounds can overwhelm and choke the important dialogue, so you really want to experience during the speaker setup. Many speaker systems have a provision proposed by the speakers. This should be a good guideline to use, but if your room will not host setups of this type, you can have the speakers and do some testing before having the perfect balance of soundin the room. Do not block the speakers with furniture and furnishings, which may impair the best sound available if you lock the speaker in any way.

Now that the sight and sound is perfect, make sure you have plenty of batteries for all your remote control device, and keep your remotes in one spot so do not worry about losing them. Now, cook your favorite munchies and break a few drinks and enjoy the payoff from all the hard work!
