Visual aids courtroom is Born

Have you thought about using visual aids in the classroom before, but had no idea where to start?

Many believe that when they were born in some way the bone was left out of creativity. Consequently, they feel very sure of themselves and are particularly dubious about their ability to suggest to an artist what they need. The difficulty that presents itself is that they are not unaware of what the real cause of the problem, but unsure how best to representothers say a jury.

People involved in the legal profession know that visual classroom, classroom demonstration aka, can be effectively used to convey ideas that can be easily lost in purely verbal descriptions. But they must be in the form of scale models? Annotated photo? Graphic Art supplies? Computer Aided Design (CAD) drawings? No need to worry, this is the land of 'visual artist, trained in perspective.

Recently I received a call from alawyer representing a client worker who was seriously injured in an industrial accident. The situation involving the operation of material handling equipment that was too big to bring into the classroom. It was also too complex to adequately represent its operation through the use of photographs or videotape.

After gathering information on the case, I decided that showing the jury a model 1 / 20 scale of the equipment as a whole would be the ideal way forlawyer to start the story. This model could be used in combination with a model much larger scale and fully operational the fourth portion of the key equipment that is held to have failed. This larger model would serve as a spotlight on the area, allowing the jury to zero in on specific details. And because it was fully operational, the lawyer failed to show the precise sequence of events that led to the injury. The jury could also have the ability to manipulate themechanism of themselves to gain a better understanding.

In addition to these physical models, a graphic illustration will be used to illustrate the hazardous condition which existed immediately before the accident and how this led to injuries of the worker. This last piece of the puzzle of visual aid should serve to tie all elements together.

No matter what the situation, a visual demonstration court may be made to bring the situation at hand in graphicslight, where its message can be easily absorbed by all.
