The Uses of Microsoft Word. Power is under the hood.

I recently had the opportunity to play with Microsoft Word. We all use daily, but 99% of users do not take advantage of its incredible features. Even worse, if we think only a bit ', we actually use the sub. How many hours spent repeating over and over again the same routine tasks? Formatting things manually? Making a long repetitive tasks again and again?
Personally, I am deeply reflected about it and decided that it was not worth all the time was in such amiserable fashion, so I while ago I decided to explore a bit 'to see if something could be done. Let me tell you that there is a whole world out there, but the benefits are obtained by taking the trouble to explore it is absolutely worth it.
First, you need to know macros. A macro is a sequence of commands that you record. Then you can do Word repeat these steps for you whenever you wish, but simply clicking a button or pressing a keyboard shortcut. Thus, byto record transactions, you need not run the sequence again and again. The sequence is recorded and you can play anytime you need, almost without effort.
But after a while ', one learns that the macros are limited, and that allow you to only do so much when your goal is to make automatic your experience with Word. Then, inevitably end up working with Visual Basic for Application. VBA is "Visual Basic for Applications" and is basically the language is built on Word.To put it another way, using VBA has complete control of what Word does. I work a lot at creating documents for mathematics, a process that involves a lot of routine and repetitive tasks. Using Visual Basic for Application I, seriously, cut my work time in half. It takes a little 'time to get the hang of it, but once you started with it, hey, you do not want to stop. There is always something new you can do to make life easier with Word, then you want to know more Visual Basic for Application.
Being left behind, andseriously cut your time at the computer. Read and Visual Basic macros and you'll know what I'm talking about.
